Isaac's Wrong: The Arabian Nights

Truth be told i am very rarely right, but my prediction at the Arabian Nights was off, instead This happened:
Courtesy of Luke Goldhorn
This does make me excited for one thing though: A Western world.
Yes I've talked about this multiple times before.
This might be the time when the perfect balance of the moon and stars comes together.
Well I hope anyway.

Theorycrafting: The Arabian Nights

In roughly 101 days I expect a new world to come out. Yes this is an ambitious idea, and I have no idea of KI's timetables, but that's my guess. And unless you have been living under a rock you probably have seen this photo:

It is what you may think it is, that it is a new world. The reasons I believe this is that there appears to be nailed down objects, such as the trees, and large digital objects, such as the palace and waterfall. You may scream Celestial Observatory, or MFP but note, they had no nailed items.

One more thing to note, this area in the photo does not actually look like a finished area. note some of the lack of detail.

AND another thing, this is not the Egyptian style as in Krokotopia, but Arabian.
Now for some lose ideas of the story.
I did some minor research on Arabian mythology and found some rather interesting facts.

In Arabian mythology there are three sister goddesses. One was of the Sun, one was of the Moon, and one was of the Fates (for all theorycrafting ideals lets say the fate is in the stars).
This would mean that there was a goddess for each of the astral schools. This also opens new opportunities for Morganth; scourge of the Spiral.
The names of these Sister goddesses were; Al-Lat(Sun), Al-Uzza(Moon), and Manat(Stars).

There were two other gods who might fit the moon and star role, they are in order; Ilmuqah, and Naila.

I also suspect these elements might play a large part in the Story of this new world due to my gut:

                    Oh yeah, I went there.

  • Hypnotized, and or Greedy Bandits
  • Sultan is your best friend
  • Marlybonians are not involved
  • We will learn more about Ambrose and Morganth
  • New Astral spells will be introduced
  • PvP people will complain that Storm is over powered no matter what
  • New pets, pet snacks, levels, plants, and gear will be available
  • KI will throw a curve ball at us, in a way we never thought possible
  • The new game will be announced soon after this world is released

Theorycrafting: The Big Game Hunter + A Magical Carpet Ride

Many of wonder who he is, why he's here, and why he only speaks in one quest. And that's why I am here tod---

Now before I go any further I'll show you a sneak peak at our next world :D
I'll post the video that this can be found in as well:

Exciting, is it not?

---ay. He is in all three of the worlds that appeared in the original Beta Testing, and KI has frequently stated that there is a big role for him in the future. So is this new world the big role he's been going for?
And what is the biggest game other than Morganthe? I'll leave it up to in the pole over there -->

Nick Jonas

Superstar Singer/Producer Nick Jonas Revealed as Wizard101 Mystery Composer

PLANO, TEXAS (MAY 11, 2011) – KingsIsle Entertainment, creators of the award-winning online game Wizard101, announced today that the soundtrack for its new expansion world, Wintertusk, was wholly written and produced by superstar singer/producer Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers.

“This was a first for me.  I never produced or wrote music for a game or in this case, a whole world before.  So I jumped at the chance to work with KingsIsle,” said Nick Jonas.  “It was very cool to be part of a project that allowed me to help create the mood for Wintertusk and interact with an audience in an entirely new way.”

Over the last two months, Jonas composed seven pieces of environmental music that serve to define the personality of the icy world of Wintertusk. The project required Jonas to create compelling original work fit for a frozen virtual world, while remaining faithful to the game’s exacting musical standards.

“Nick Jonas is an extraordinary talent and it’s been an incredible experience to work with him over the last few months,” said Todd Coleman, vice president and creative director forWizard101. “When you listen to the music for the new world of Wintertusk, it’s clear that Nick is an endlessly creative composer and producer with an amazing degree of versatility.”

A post that includes nothing!

Hi there and thanks for visiting that link you just clicked on :D. If you are wondering who I am, I am Isaac Mistheart~ Professional Theorycrafter/ Lvl 60 Pyromancer. Why did I right this post? I have no idea. But I'll take you through my process of writing a blog post.

It's funny, sometimes I stare at the new post screen for hours on end and nothing happens. I'ts true. My mind stops working as I stare at the emptiness of the page.

Medititaion.

Nothing.

Silence.

This is when my mind turns on to other games I've been playing, such as Mario, Portal, The Game, ect. and the books I love.

Then I realize That I'm supposed to be brainstorming.

Then more nothing happens.

I get so bored of nothing I go explore the wonders of the Internet. As I've discovered there are a lot of "wonders" out there. (I mean distractions)

Then I close my browsing window because I've opened up 25-40 tabs.

I then give up.

*************************

My other plan is that whenever a sudden rush of genius hits I drop everything and start typing.

And that is how I write my amazing posts. :)
(I hope that you get these 2 minutes you wasted here back one day)

Theorycrafting: Cutscenes

In Wintertusk there are a total of two cut-scenes. In other worlds there are zip. So I propose to give KI ideas where to put them in worlds. At a graphical standpoint this would be really hard do to the fact that Wizard City up to Celestia use a older processor and might not be able to handle the awesomeness. But without that fact Here We Go!

Cutscene 1: When We first come out of the doors to the commons doing a pan shot of the entire area.

Cutscene 2: When Bartylbe's mouth is opening it pan's around all of Ravenwood shaking then finally his mouth opening.

Cutscene 3: Panshot of Krok areas

Cutscene 4: From top behind to Dramatic rumbling in a sweeping shot at the entrance

Cutscene 5: The confrontation scene swooping from Bones to the reluctant helper.

Cutscene 6: Zoom through glass to top of tower to reveal 3 silhouettes. (Mallistaire, Meowiarty, Agony Wraith)

Cutscene 7: Panshot of Mooshu

Cutscene 8: After the Jade Oni is defeated a new cutscene opens up to where the emperor wakes up.

Cutscene 9: After making it to Cyrus, pans around the Dragon Titan from a distance.

Cutscene 10: At the final crucial moments the Camera slowly goes toward the Dragon Titan with dramatic music.

Cutscene ??: Yet another panshot of Grizzleheim to show off the immenseness.

Cutscene ??: The whole Raven Treachery Scene in motion much like the Bones confrontation scene.

Cutscene 11: Pan shot of Celestia.
